Known for its luminous and inspiring landscapes, the Vallée de la Creuse seduced many artists like Monet, Guillaumin, or Detroy. Today, it's your turn to gaze upon these unique landscapes…
In this unique adventure, the famous Poï'z will guide you on an artistic quest. You're sure to bump into Zabeth and Zétoulu around the corner . Your mission: help Zart' create the perfect painting by exploring the valley's most beautiful spots.
Between villages, churches and spectacular panoramas along the Creuse, we have put together routes that will immerse you in a truly picture-postcard setting.
Two days immersed in art and history!
Get ready for a two-day geolocated adventure (non-stop if you're up for it!) in the heart of the Valley of Painters . Here, heritage isn't just visited, it's experienced.
Equipped with the Tèrra Aventura app, your mission will be to solve puzzles, unlock new routes and uncover “mystery objects” in order to hopefully win the ultimate prize: the exclusive physical “Impressive Z'Impressionnistes” badge!
A tour through our charming villages
This Micro Z'Adventure forges a unique link between the north of Creuse and the south of Indre , highlighting architectural and landscape gems:
- Argenton-sur-Creuse : Nicknamed the “Venice of Berry”, it is the gateway for artists. Its houses with galleries suspended above the Creuse will immediately immerse you in the atmosphere.

Le Menoux : A surprising village where art is everywhere, notably with its church featuring monumental contemporary frescoes by Jorge Carrasco.

Ceaulmont : For a contemplative break with breathtaking views of the Creuse loops, where the light so inspired the masters of Impressionism.

Gargilesse-Dampierre : Classified among the “Most Beautiful Villages of France”, this refuge of George Sand is an unmissable stop for lovers of old stones and literary history.
The adventure also continues with our neighbors in Fresselines , Lafat and Crozant , for a total immersion in what the valley has to offer that is wildest and most romantic.
