Châteaubrun, also known as the Castle of Giants for its monumental bronze sculptures. Unfettered by the art market or the dictatorship of the Ministry of Good Taste, free from any cultural influence, the sculptures of Châteaubrun are not intended to seduce but to shock and make sense; they express themselves as such. They can be rebellious and express their revolt against the norms and failings of our society, they can be erotic and speak of love, or simply strive for a form of fulfillment in their world of silence.
Guy Baudat's sculptures could have been born in the Bronze or Stone Age. However, they are contemporary with the future and the past without forgetting the present times..." (source: châteaubrun
