Chapelle Saint-Benoît
ARGENTON-SUR-CREUSE
The Saint-Benoît Chapel, listed as a historic monument in 1908, was built between 1497 and 1502 on the banks of the Creuse River. Transformed into an annex to the wheat market during the Revolution, it remained so until 1872 before returning to worship.
Today, this chapel is the site of magnificent exhibitions, offered by local associations.
