The pedestrian bridge over the Creuse which unites the two banks of the Vallée de la Creuse between Montcocu and Châteaubrun is a Himalayan-style suspension footbridge.

This type of footbridge is characterized by its light weight and high transparency. The footbridge seeks to enhance the natural landscape and creates a link between the two banks of the Creuse River. The contrasting reliefs between the valley and the steep rocks are highlighted by the design of the footbridge.

On the left bank, side Baraize, the structure is anchored as close to the ground as possible, while on the right bank it rises very high into the cliff. Highlighting the relief between the two banks, the footbridge accompanies you throughout the crossing. The supporting cables support the deck with the help of hangers, while the windward cables stabilize horizontal movements.
